Memory Bucket is a cooperative storytelling game to play with the people you’re curious about. Travel back in time to hear the experiences that made them who they are today!

Our game invites you to hear the stories that shaped the people around your table. The game guides the journey—with prompts, follow-up questions, and unexpected events.

How to Play

Players work together to collect seashells—each representing a memory of a player in your group. Your mission: gather all of the seashells into the Memory Bucket before you run out of Travel Cards or get stuck in the sand!

In each round, one player—the Storyteller—selects a specific moment from their past and answers a prompt to share a story from that time. The memory unfolds as other players ask follow-up questions to dig deeper into the experience. Once all questions have been answered, the memory has been collected and a seashell goes into the Memory Bucket.

What's inside?

Enclosed in a beautiful cylindrical package, each Memory Bucket game comes with 12 seashells, a special token and die, and four unique card decks (Travel, Prompt, Follow-up, and Event Cards) with custom illustrations that bring the world of Memory Bucket to life.

In each round of Memory Bucket, you travel back in time to a specific age in a fellow player's life and hear a story from that age.
You're the storyteller in this round, and we're traveling back to when you were 6 years old.
